With more time at home, gardening has exploded as a hobby this spring. This may be a new interest for many, but not for Eco-Friendly Retailers. Here are a few retailer gardens on-site and in the community.

| Larry H Miller Subaru Boise created an on-site vegetable garden with a local school, helping students make connections between environmental sustainability, healthy eating, and science in the garden. |

Planet Subaru’s food forest includes pears, peaches, persimmons, apples, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Students from a nearby school helped with the initial planting and perform all farming duties. The bounty goes to local food banks.

An on-site organic vegetable garden was started 10 years ago at Patriot Subaru. It is still active today and tended by Patriot associates. Customers waiting for vehicle service have even helped pull weeds.
