NADA and the EPA are joining forces to create an ENERGY STAR certification program for franchised dealerships, and your help is needed to launch the program.
The two groups are calling on dealerships to complete a voluntary energy use survey. The anonymous data collected will help develop a 1-100 ENERGY STAR score, which will be available in the Portfolio Manager tool. Completion of the survey is optional and is NOT required for Eco-Friendly Retailer status.
All Eco-Friendly Retailers have an ENERGY STAR account, and once the score is developed, it will give you the power to compare your energy performance in relation to the industry. Top performers will earn ENERGY STAR certification, an additional credential to highlight commitment to energy efficiency and differentiate retailers among competitors.
