What do you get when you cross jogging with picking up trash? Plogging. It's a Swedish term and idea that has spread over the past few years, even to Charlotte, NC.
Back in March, Williams Subaru Charlotte joined a local run club for a plogging event. Race participants laced up running shoes, put on gloves, and set out with trash bags to pick up trash along the route. Rather than put all the trash collected in the dumpster, appropriate materials were added to Williams' TerraCycle boxes.
Williams produced this video highlighting its involvement, along with its Eco-Friendly Certification and TerraCycle partnership, and shared it on social posts.
