We often hear about the big things we can do to save on energy costs, like upgrading to energy efficient lighting or HVAC equipment. But what about the small things? Here are two simple steps to use less energy.

Turn off equipment after hours.

Stop overnight energy draw by turning off equipment when not in use. Some retailers focus on shop equipment, turning off compressors at the end of the day.
