America’s largest Subaru Dealership is also an Eco-Friendly Retailer. Wilsonville Subaru, located in northwest Oregon, has plenty of green initiatives inside its 92,000-square-foot facility as well as in the local community helping keep local beaches clean.
Inside Wilsonville
From its One person. One price. No bull. sales approach to vehicle stackers that help maximize indoor viewing space, there’s lots of innovation inside Wilsonville Subaru. Construction was completed in 2016, and green advancements are woven throughout the facility.

Community Support
Wilsonville Subaru joined with the Oregon Subaru Club last July for a first-time community event. A group of 200 people driving more than 100 Subaru vehicles met at Sunset Beach for the first annual Wilsonville Subaru Beach Cleanup and Oregon Subaru Club Beach Cruise. According to Wilsonville’s blog, the crew collected 80 pounds of trash, including 30 pounds of nails.

In addition to the beach cleanup event, Wilsonville gives back to the Oregon coast through its Surf & Sand Edition*. This vehicle package for Forester, Outback or Crosstrek vehicles includes a lift kit, wheels and tires, and a surf rack. For each Surf & Sand package purchased, the retailer donates $250 to the Portland chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping keep the Oregon Coast clean. Among the Surfrider Foundation’s programs is a campaign to reduce plastic straw use, which is an often-found item during beach cleanups.

In addition to Subaru Eco-Friendly Retailer certification, Wilsonville is EcoBiz certified, a distinction recognizing Oregon businesses for environmental protection efforts.
