Chuck Golden, CEO of Green Dealer Support, discusses the importance to retailers of marketing their sustainability efforts. Subaru Concord, in Concord, NC, partnered with local baseball team Kannapolis Cannonballers to sponsor a tree-planting event at a Kannapolis elementary school, providing a sapling for each of the students to take home and nurture, and also assisted in the creation of a pollinator garden. Lithia Reno Subaru, in Reno, NV, participated in a cleanup event in association with KTMB (Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful). planting trees and installing mulch, as well as clearing out weeds and overgrown vegetation.
